Northeast LET dyno tune interest

It looks like we got prodigymb, sleeper01, S5LorinzerF1, and myself down for the 1320 location (possibly even GoDav AMG and Obsidian05e55)
Hopefully the remaining members can get together and find a secondary location that would better suit your needs.
As far as the tuning goes, I have a few suggestions for discussions sake:
-Why not have organize to back tuning sessions (Saturday in one location and Sunday in the other). This way we lessen LET's travel expenses.
-Or maybe Wayne and Jerry preffer to split up in order to cover both locations on the same day.
Just wanted to throw some options out there to see how you all feel about it.

OK, I just spoke with Wayne and confirmed LET's dyno tune pricing.
All SLK32's, C32's, and SRT6 tunes cost $600.
All SL55's, S55's, CLS55's, G55's, and E55 tunes cost $800.
Then you must add $100/hour for Wayne's time on the dyno and $80/hour for the dyno rental.
Now, I asked Wayne what is the time range for these cars to be tuned. He said these cars can take as little as 45 minutes up to about 1.5 hours to tune.
So a custom 6 cylinder tune will be anywhere from $780 to $960,
and the cost for a custom 55K tune will be around $980 to $1160.
Hence the reason I'm bringing a case of Red Bull.

sorry to sound like a total noob, but what kind of hp gains are you guys looking at? Does a LET tune a stock cars or does it need at least a pulley to see a hp gains?

isnt $800 the same price as on the website if you send in the ecu??
shouldnt we get somewhat of a better deal since we have 5 or more cars showing up
Alex what will be the price for a custom tune on my car??

If TVT is done with my car I'm in.It'll be nice to have 3 sets of numbers (before, after, and a 3rd number from a different dyno) to compare.

joe whats up bro....yo i talked to andy at MHP and he has a way better tune for us. More HP and TQ and he guarentees it! let tune wont get us the max out of our cars plus MHP has more records set with there tunes..let has none. With your 55k motor you should def have one hell of a monster after the tune. Im gonna drive down to that 1320 dyno in NJ sometime this week or next sat.. if you wanna come along we can get our current hp/tq stats then go for the mhp custom tune which is in similar price range to the let dyno tune

S5LorinzerF1 brings up a good point in regards to the prices being the same as their website.
On the other hand, Wayne and Jerry will be acquiring approximately $500-$600 in airfair and hotel accomidations alone which they will not be passing off to us customers.
Gentlemen, I'm looking to get the best bang per buck just like the rest of you, but I'd hate to **** on a good deal.
Would another $100 off the pricing help members on the fence commit?
If so, post your thoughts. Lets discuss things openely and attempt to solidify the event.
As for the date(s) of the tune, I spoke to 1320 and they have no problem researving the 28th or the 29th for us instead. Whatever suits the majority's needs is fine with me.
Please discuss.

LET will not get the max out of your cars? You do know there is only so much car can take regarding timing under boost at a certain octane level right? I guess some have found out how to supersede this?
And what's this about more records being set by one and not the other? I think this year a few more LET cars will come out and spook some of you guys.

i thought we were going for the 21st - either saturday works for me as I NEED A TUNE. i kinda feel bad that the 2 clk guys especially blackbenzz are left in the cold. i can ask my friend to set up a day for us in PA so that way it will be right in the middle for EVERYONE.

in all fairnes here some of the LET tuned cars wiht just pulley and cooling are running renntech stage 2 and kleemann k2 times. Is it due to drivers or the really cold weather not sure. But the times set are really good non the less
I have no tune with either one, so just from what i have read
have not seen or heard of an MHP 55k run yet

I hardly see how those numbers are a similar price....
In regards to the records, wait until the tracks open here in chicago, there will be major changes.....

Not trying to flame, but MHP is charging $3200 for a tune, while LET is at 800 plus maybe another 150 for a custom dyno tune....

No doubt this is an awsome deal.
IMO, LET dyno tunes are far superior to the competition's mail order tunes.
I've seen LET's tuning results during their last visit to Jersey and I refuse to miss this opportunity to have them dial in my car.

CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
Either location is fine for me, and what would it cost to tune my daily driver C55.?

and i am sorry but 3000+ for a tune - GTFO. i know there are some really wealthy folks on this board, i am not complaining as well. but people need to do their research and buy things that are worth it and not to just blow out your cash. 800 is a fair price for a good tune across the board -regardless of whether you have an audi, a honda, a benz etc. on a side note - i am yet to see a fast time out of a 55k mhp car. their C63 moves but is still way overpriced.
