Northeast LET dyno tune interest

Some of us are interested in getting LET to fly out and dyno tune our cars somwhere in the northeast. Anyone interested?

1. BlackonBlackCLK
2. Blackbenzz
3. Prodigymb
4. Tech-Tune
5. NDF55

I would prefer to have it done before March 1st in time for MIR

Hasn't been decided yet. Just gauging interest. If we have enough people we can do one in NY area and one in DC area or something of the sort

Definitely interested if LET would come to DC. Schedule is a bit to crazy fit in NY. I don't hang out on the forums very much, but I'll stay subscribed to this thread to see what pans out.

I'm interested, need a pulley and H/E first to make the tune worth while.

jersey is in the middle.....plus dyno time in nj is cheaper too. i can get dyno time in PA for 50$ for 4 pulls....probably even better then that depending on number of cars.

It would have to be a mustang or dynodynamics dyno for tuning.

Seems like there is alot of interest. Maybe he can do MD, PA, then Jersey/NY I dunno, I think 2 locations would be fine though

Dynojets are not good for tuning because they arent load bearing, never even heard of a Maha

maha is like the god dyno in europe. it's german, load bearing. calculates wheel and crank number. here is what a maha dyno sheet looks like.

Dont know what the going rates are but I can vouch for Jersey having affordable Dyno rates.

By the way I'm definitely in if this goes down.

well at philly dyno works i used to dyno free and when i set up dyno days it was 50$ for 4 pulls. now eric is relocating that shop so no access to that dyno. another old friend of mine is the tuner and part owner of Roots Factory in Coatsville, PA which is also a dynojet and i can get the 50$ for 4 pulls rate there.

blackbenzz - you can tune on a dynojet, i do it for vw/audi and porsche, and used to tune honda. roots factory tunes primarily nissan on that dyno(SR20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT, RB20DET) and they have some fast car coming out of that place.

there is also a place in Delaware - but that also has dynojet

Maha dynos are indeed some of the best I have heard. I would have participated in this..but already got hands on a VRP package, plus don't think LET tunes the Biturbos yet? Correct me if I am wrong. Thx,

Agreed, you can tune on a dynojet but it's not ideal. Without load you aren't really getting an accurate reading. You could tune on the street if you wanted to.

Last time LET came to VA we tuned on a dyno dynamics dyno

accurate reading of what?

i like dyno dynamics. mustang dyno - i'll pass, rather get a street tune and save $$ on dyno time.

i just talked to wayne. we almost have enough "new" people to get him to come out here. ideally we want another 2 cars that have not been previously tuned by LET.

anyone else want a custom dyno tune??

How about NY or NJ
No news and what is the price?
I know Jerry was in Florida and gave the boys out there a sick price.

i am not sure if he will do any special pricing - i guess that will depend on how many cars we get. in FL - he did 10 cars. we are at like 5 now.

as far as location goes

1. BlackonBlackCLK - MD
2. Blackbenzz - NJ
3. Prodigymb - PA
4. Tech-Tune - NJ
5. NDF55 - NY
6. Obsidian05E55 - NJ

NJ seems like the obvious choice so far. . .
