Whats your MPGs
I am new to the board and to AMG. I was wondering what you guys are seeing in MPG. The best mix driving I can get it 14.5 and thats really pansy foot.

Not that I bought the car for gas mileage but my stroker motor mustang gets better mileage. And I am wondering if maybe it is running a little too rich.

7mpg on my 3 mile round-trip to work most days

18.9 on the hwy. Most of the time 11-13 in the city

Here's a twist to this thread. I think that it's pretty well established these cars get about 15 mixed driving...10 if you're enjoying it.

But...What are you guys with pulley / tune getting for mileage?

Same, better tune is compensating for the bigger pulley under normal conditions, but thats saying that you are driving normally

Just ran the grapevine today both ways. Burbank to Bakersfield and back. 85mph avg 18.6mpg according to the trip computer

2006 E55 AMG
On my most recent trip to LA from San Jose averaging 80-85 I got 21.2 mpg. After VRP's tune it seems like I picked up about 1.5 mpg.

After I got the LET tune, I went from 13.5 to 14.5 avg, from 18.5 to 20 on highway. nice.

I am averaging about 14mpg & only drive in the city. Obviously, i'm smashing the pedal as often as possible too.

It takes about 10 minutes for that 16th bar to disappear from the fuel guage.
