Question Where to buy AMG floormats (besides dealer)?

It was easy to find some lloyds floormats for my other cars but I'm having a hard time finding any good quality AMG floormats for the E55. Anyone have a suggestion that is a cheaper alternative to the dealership? Looking for carpet, not the rubber/plastic all weather ones....

Look in the back of magazines, Autoweek, Road & Track etc., they always seem to have them.
You can get them stitched with the car model or whatever.

BavAuto.com, which caters only to BMWs, can order AMG mats for you.

I ordered a set of their Ultimate Mats, which is made with 54 oz extra thick and plush carpet. They are about $139.95, and I had them embroiled "'//AMG" on their with the factory fonts.

I had several sets of the same mats on my BMWs and I absolutely love them!

Lastly, their customer service is beyond excellent.

Exactly what I'm looking for, except I can't read german.
I'll try bavauto.com also.
Thanks

For those reading this thread and getting new mats because their existing ones are too dirty, just drop them in the washing machine and they come out brand new. A trick I learned back in the day.

I just did that in my new Whirlpool duets and they are ruined. The edge came apart on the driver side mat. Bottom line is don't do that and hand wash them. I feel so stupid for putting them in the washing machine.

I bought the new versions off the dealer and they just SUCK!!

Cheapest pieces of garbage. Cheap thin foam back on a thin fabric mat.

If the AMG logo wasn't stitched on it, I would have refused them. They do look nice but just not like the factory origs.

Thanks a lot Benz!!

They did? I've washed mine several times and they look brand new.

Although, the last time I did it, there were frayed ends around the edges. I just took a pair of hair clippers and trimmed it!

yeah I was shocked. I have washed my jeep mats numerous times with the frayed ends as well. Never have seen a corner torn in half. Luckily the tear is on the driver side up by the dead pedal so you can't really see it. I don't think I will be using the stock mats anymore anyways. I got my weathertech black mats yesterday and they are freaking awesome! I love rubber mats for some reason. I have them in all my cars.
