Don't know what type of mexican car you know that has 8k chrome 5 spokes with a lip. I guess they really are paying those illegals too much.

$8,000 dollars or not they are ugly to me. The wheels stick out further than the fenders and quarters. And who said anything about illegals?!?!

Just making a joke man. I agree, they could be a little narrower, enough to fit inside the fender a little more. Other than that I think they look good. I too am someone that totally goes for light, functional and simple, but I have to say I like these. But I wouldn't miss a chance to slap a set of Volks on an E, someone here has done it or at least put up pictures of it I think?

+1 I almost bought a set of TE37's in the gunmetal/greyish color for my car. I thought it would look good especially since my car is Techtite Grey. Also they are crazy light. Something like these.

I'm going to see if I can get someone to photoshop those on an E55 and see what they look like.

volks

Volk is barely starting to make wheels in our bolt pattern. I spoke to Makin the US distrubtor and they said they have very limited offsets for the e class-

in most cases, the offsets would be too aggresive or not at all. They stated if we can get 10 guys together they would do a custom run on TE37 for our cars- problem is that they are not cheap- they told me they wanted around 4800 for the set

Nice chop! You know that really is the best looking design for an E55, simple, 5 spokes, clean, sharp, its great. Ok, crazier: What about CE28s? They are literally feather weight, 19.5 lbs for a 19x8.5! The 37s are sick though, having those would really be the sickest external mod ever, imho. Just think about all the benefits: Improved accel, much improved handling, better mpg, better stopping, better steering feel and accuracy, better looks, really no downside, except the price, haha. But I wonder if they would do a set of CE28Ns too, that would be interesting. Even the TEs are so light though, 20.2 for 19x8.5s, 20.9 for 19x9.5s.

I don't have an E55 YET, but now I know what color I would like and what wheels to get, if I can afford them. That looks awesome!

Jeeeezzzz, those are atrocious!!

I have had a bunch of my friends try to talk me into getting Volks, but I still can't get past the ricerish persona. I have had two STIs and I think I want some "baller" status wheels this time around. HREs, DPEs, Modulare, etc.
