'05 e55, '02 911, and '01 ML320

55 Is Alive

Well, my 55 arrived in super condition from FL yesterday late evening - looking forward to spending the day familiarizing myself with all the features my '02 didn't have; my detailer is also planning to pay me a visit this pm to assess how many hrs it will take for the full detail

On tap to be completed in the next 30 days: Kleeman headers, LET 172 pulley, LET ECU flash, low profile rear spoiler, K&N air filters, front black grille, clear side markers, LED interior lighting, installation of K40

Wish me luck - will post pics as progress is made; this car is so spectacular, pics will never do it justice, that is for sure

Thanks - BTW: never dyno'd a car before so any thoughts with the engine mods above, how much est increase in HP I may get?

Congratulations, I did the LEDs in the interior and can tell you that the W211 is not LED friendly, like the W210. I removed them in 2 minutes The K&N is less of a filter than OEM and will leave a oil residue in the supercharger and intercooler both not good. there are dry filters that flow as much as K&Ns and filter much better. Don't forget the SC rotates at 20,000 RPM and has internal clearances of <.005" you want a good filter to prevent wear in the SC, K&Ns just are not that good of a filter. Spend your K&N dollars on the 180 pulley
