2007 E63 w/P30 and Eurotech CF Diffuser
The point was the a real diffuser usually extends for some distance forward to take over the job of keeping the airflow smooth and stable under the car. That stable air follows the diffuser surface and as it gets to the back of the car will tend to follow the curvature up. This results in a high velocity airflow which generates down force. The fins help limit the options the air has in moving to the side where there is no benefit to down force and can result in the air becoming turbulent. It is like having an upside down wing.
And it looks cool.
And it looks cool.

hey guys
the morons at the dealer brought us this on friday
a FRONT BUMPER when we gave the part # for a rear!!!!!!!
thank god today they brought us the correct part, which is THIS!
Now that we have the part, we will get started ASAP, we will post progress pics soon when we have something nice to share. The diffusers will attach most likely how our E55 diffusers do, double sided tape and 2 bolts.. But we will know more when we get closer....

Probably not. We have worked with silver CF in the past (it is actually fiberglass that looks like CF, there is no such thing as real silver CF) and its not an easy material to work with because it is so stiff...We can probably do it, but not on this E63 diffuser...

Hey Neal,
As something very cool, you should engrave the inside of them with something like "Number one of ten for Clayton XXXXXX"
Or something like that. I think you were gonna number them, but adding the purchaser's real name would be kinda cool.

We have discussed privately doing a numbering thing. Whatever Neal decides will be to make it unique to itself without doing any harm. personally I dont want my name on it, but as discussed with Neal by email a number scheme would be fine.
