A better deal? I simply asked payments be deferred. I called as soon as the Walkout happened this was long before the housing collapse. My mortgage on all my homes are current because the lenders deffered some payments while I was out of work. Many creditors responded, mbfinancial chose to drag the car down my driveway. Hope you never need help,
Why did you have $6800 in the bank before the car got drug down your driveway? You could have made one payment and gotten alot farther with them but instead you choose to try to talk them into defering almost $8000 in payments. And your surprised the car got yanked?

I'm still in awe at the level of immaturity and stupidity brought on here by fellow members. No one needs your jokes, no one needs your opinions and no one needs your conclusions on this situation. What you think happen is something we, quite frankly don't give a f-k about. In case you didn't notice, all the well-respected members around here are trying to help a fellow enthusiast out of this predicament and aren't really entertained at your attempts to kick someone while they're down.
It's clear tools like you two, are in the minority; thankfully. If you can't respect the fact Juicee63 came on here, put his pride aside and took responsibility for what has happened (even offered 27% on top of what would be borrowed) then leave the thread.
It's ridiculous, people like you two clowns think they are actually impervious to this recession (or being laid-off for that matter). As has been stated in the other thread, situations like these can happen to anyone.
Juicee63, glad to see your making progress brotha!

I don't buy cars I have to sell if I am out of work for a bit. I guess I can go get that lambo as long as I am humble enough to set my pride aside when that repo man comes huh?

Dude, why don't you just layoff. You never add anything of value on any thread you post on, you are the voice of negativity. Don't kick a guy when he is down. Go start a thread ripping on me, but leave Josh alone, you obviously don't know him, he would give the shirt off his back to you if you asked.

I understand the situation.
But with the used car market as it stands now.. why not take $7k you need to pay on your car, have a friend or relative help you with buy another CLS63?
Or downsize due to your economic issues?
It is refreshing to see people give $1000 dollars in these times to people that share the same passion for cars.
Goes to show you what type of people are on this board. If this was any other name brand, they would of taken shots at you left and right. Like a few around here.

Answer the question and I'll stay out of it..

1. Mercedes refused two payment's on 2/14/2009, I went to the bank after recieving a CHECK from a vendor for 68XX. I then called to wire the monies to my finance company. The rep explained Western union would be faster to creditas the money even if wired would not be credited till the following week.
So I CASHED the check placed the money in the car and drove 2 blks home where I ran inside to change my daughters diaper and give her some kisses.
When I went out my back door and peered down the driveway I noticed the car was not where I parked it.

all the remaining lease payments + the residual value - auction proceeds
$19,200 + $75,000 - $X = Plungered

Hey juicee...how are you looking in regards to this situation? I just got back from a rough weekend in Vegas last night (way too much to drink) so I got caught up on the sad news...sorry to hear it. I could contribute if needed.

Hey Josh, were you able to make the deal with repo company to stop it from going to the auction?
EDIT: oops, you beat me to it...
