ECU Memory – Sport Mode / Comfort Mode ??????
We all know if you drive in everyday traffic, slow, and not quick accelerations, your car will show some form of lag when you want to get on it FT.
My question is…. Does the ECU have different memory for each setting, meaning, If I was to do my daily driving is Comfort mode (slow), but then if I am at a light and want to drop the hammer then switch to Spot mode…. Will the ECU switch to the sport mode memory and give me the raw power I want (like when you reset you ECU) or will is stay in the mindset of this guy drives slow so the car will drive slow….. ????
As far as I understand it, transmission/throttle adaptation is a universal setting, and then adjusted based on which transmission mode you are in. Which basically would mean the answer to your question is no. You articulate the drawbacks of adaptive settings in your particular situation quite well... kind of sucks...

That's what I was worried about. I tried to rip one the other day from light to light and was not impressed with what I felt... reset the ECU and cant keep the traction light off... oh well. Next time I want to light someone up I will have to try to get them to roll down their window and ask them ever so politely if they wouldn’t mind waited approximately 2 mins for me to reset my ECU….

(ok, not really, but it sucks nonetheless)
