Frozen Boost heat exchanger
Have any of u guys/gals used products from this company?
a fellow member sent me this link (thanks Fredxxx) and i was wondering if i can use this for my cooling upgrade.

im going to try and see how much room i have behind my front bumper this week. hopefully we are able to get a good idea of how much room there is back there without having to remove the whole front bumper. it would suck to have to do that twice.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
oh and those of u with upgraded heat exchangers, preferably the add ons with split cooling circuit, could u please chime in with some dimensions?
ESPECIALLY if u have a CLS 55.
thanks!

Indeed. Considering this isn't a wholesale price or anything (presumably, this company is selling these units for $150 retail, at a profit) - it reinforces the concept that MB-specific tuning products have a healthy mark-up percentage factored in.

please keep us posted and ill do the same.
i hope to be able to find out how much room i have this thursday.
BTW i know that its better to split the cooling circuit and that is what i would like to do, but can u replace the stock HE with a much larger one and still split the cooling circuit?
if so, when splitting the cooling circuit, which is better?
1) replacing stock HE with a larger one
2)having an additional HE along with the stock one

very interesting.
I will also look under the e55 to see if this will fit without a problem.
How would this set up be
1. Frozen boost IC
2. CM30 Pump
No split cooling circuit.
Also what connections can we use to connect the hoses to the IC.

ahh so these would be too large to fit in addition to the OEM heat exchanger.
for those of u with the code 3 or LET heat exchangers, would u happen to know the dimensions? can u also tell us how much room is left back there after installing the HE?

so when u say 5" core does that mean the height of the HE is 5 inches?
any idea on the length and the thickness?
also are u able to split the cooling circuit with your setup?

you have to get rid of the stock one... and replace it with a new one
If you run two in front of each other, the second heat exchanger will just pick up the heat from the stock one...
