It's 1:30am Saturday, at Hamton Inn about 15 minutes from California Speedway watching Pinks All out. It will be a hot day crowded but well worth it, it's what we do RACE when ever we can.. See ya all there at 6am

It was a great day but indeed hellish.
TEAM AMG represented , ran some amazing times and survived 105 degree's.
Highlights to follow.
Lots of close races between 55's and 63's and some not so close, LOL!

I don't know what was hellish the heat or driving 370 miles straight home from the track! None the less it was well worth it and for everyone that was there it was great to meet you and I look forward to the next meet! I just need to decide what will be upgraded between then???

I don't think I could complain, not with a 2 ton grocery getter with a suede headliner and 200lb Pano roof doing 12s. She's just fun to drive and it was awesome to finally run against some other AMGs. The rice rockets and five point slow mustangs get old fast.

I also had a great time racing and meeting everyone today. It doesn't get any better than to race fellow AMG cars, and still pulling decent times despite the heat. It'll only get faster from here on!

All of the participants really made the most of it.

The battle royale between Alan and Rick and you and me are worthy of seperate thread. Mike vs Lisa was pretty entertaining as well

We stayed the whole day to race.. 105-107 degrees
and the
NEW TEAM AMG emerged
The closest race being only .0433 apart..
What a great day it was. I will start a new post to discusse mods and races in more detail. Any of you guys that were there can start the post also. Title it TEAM AMG FONTANA
I'm still trying to recover..
