LET Motorsports 06 CLS55 Custom Dynotune numbers

Well guys we took a 06 CLS55 today and installed the LET 172mm Pulley and the Johnson CM30 pump as its only two mods then took it down to the Dyno for some custom tuning, below are the numbers.

Specs:
06 CLS55
LET 172mm Pulley
Johnson CM30
20in Sevas wheels with 305s in the rear these cost the car some power for sure!
And its was 89 Degrees today in Florida!

First pass with LET 172mm & Johnson CM30 installed and stock tune:
SAE Corrected: 418.45rwhp 443.17rwtq
Uncorrected: 423.96 449.01rwtq

After 3 more tunes to get it just right the end result was:
SAE Corrected: 470.97rwhp 498.23rwtq
Uncorrected: 479.27rwhp 507.01rwtq

So tune all alone over stock tuning was good for:
52.5rwhp & 55 rwtq SAE Corrected
55.0rwhp & 58 rwtq Uncorrected

Thanks to LET and Wayne from LET for doing the great remote dyno tuning from out in the MIDWEST!

The airfuel on the 1st dyno pass is off cause the exhaust tube fell off during the run.

Justin

Great numbers those 20s are likely robbing you of an extra 10 whp. Honestly, custom dyno tuning is the best way to get the car dialed in correctly. Congrats.....

Yeah 20s and wider and taller tires will take 10 at the wheels from hp and tq I would say but if you like the look it's worth it.

We are having a custom tune dyno day in Phoenix this coming weekend and I've been wondering what to expect over my VR550 tune. I see that you are running similar numbers to mine...BUT...your pulley is smaller (175 vs 172...difference?) and are running bigger wheels/tires than my stock set up. Could be a good day indeed!

From the looks of the times on the dyno from the first dyno to the last it took us 1hr 20min. Could have been done faster but you want to get some time between runs for cooling. Only did 4 pulls on the dyno to get it where it needed to be.

You think that is fast or slow? Also remember this is the first car i have done with this system and there was a learning curve and also the shop was teaching me there dyno so all they have to do is strap it down next time and i run everything else.

The actual flash process is like 10 minutes or so. Give it another 10-15 minutes to setup/put-away the equipment. So 30 minutes tops!
