SDS Star Checklist 05 e55

I've talked a tech into letting me borrow a STAR for up to an hour this weekend...so far plans are:

Lower .5-.75"
-10* Cooling Fan Mod

Anything else I should lock/unlock/do?

Any screenshots or how-to's, at least something pointing me in the right direction? I know I saw something on how to do the -10 mod, just can't find it to save my life right now.

Thanks to everyone-this board is a wealth of info and some entertainment as well!

For the 10 mod you have to go into the developer area.
There is a thread some where which shows you how to do it.
You can do lock unlock beep, you can change the service intervals to what ever mileage period you want like 7000 for oil change etc.
Where in texas are you?
I would also want to do the 10 mod maybe you can help me.

hi Texas,

Can you share with me the procedures on doing the lowering? I have access to a Star SDS too but not sure how to lower it.

Hmm, this seems to have backfired-I was hoping for the procedure.

I'll try and do a step by step with screenshots this weekend.

shardul, I'm just up 290 from you in North Austin.

Hey Texas, where do yall take your cars in Houston for the STAR? I've gone to Greenway and they don't seem to have a specialist.

Whatever we're tuning!
Alright.. here is a few important things.

To perform the -10* fan adjustment, you do not need to go into the Developer Mode, shardul I don't know who told you this but it's wrong.

The path to the adjustment should be something like this:

Control Modules -> Drive -> ME-SFI -> Control Unit Adaptations -> Correction

And you want INCREASE the temperature to make the fan kick on 10 degrees sooner.

As far as lowering goes, it's not as simple as changing a few values. You need to know the correct corresponding angles of the suspension. I would trust this to someone who has experience lowering cars with SDS.
