By the way, Warren's car did not only beat a stock E63, it beat the quickest/fastest stock E63 in the west coast

I'm not talking about more modified cars(tires can drop .5 seconds or more off times). I'm talking about the thread holder that is talking about a stock 335 with a JB3 intimidating a moron E63 owner. If your uncle would like to race me for money, let's get it on.

I test drove the M5 a few times before I got the E63. Of course it handles better but I could not live with the stiffer ride. I even thought my wife's 335i rode to harsh. I prefer comfort over handling. To each their own.

BMW's in general handle pretty well. I took my M3 through Palomar Canyon down here and it performed beautifully! At this point, I'm not confident enough to even try taking the E63 through there because some of the corners are so tight. Maybe later down the road once I get to know the car a little better. I'm still testing it's limits.

Straight line, however, the E63 is amazing. I notice that it you don't feel the torque kick in right away, but when it does, it's definitely a rush and from there it accelerates quickly and smoothly.

my offer is really a good offer. You never know, the stock E63 could spin badly off the line and you would be a million dollars richer. You never know.

Sometimes I feel my wife's new X5 handles better than my car because it just feels more "fun" going around curves even though my car would easily beat it.

That's the thing with BMW, they are great at making cars with very communicative steering.

I am happy to have parted with the SMG tranny. It was so finnicky in the M3 that it made me wish I had gotten it in manual at times. I used to hate when it would start bucking out of nowhere and it'd look like I didn't know how to drive the car.

Bangle's design really drove me away from BMW. I absolutely loved the E39 M5 and feel that is just a classic shape. The new M5, to me...gag. Even though the E63 is slower in the long run, I'd still take it over the M5.

Using race fuel and drag slicks while running 12's seems a little ridiculous to me

Mo is correct about those modded 335's... Race gas, drag tires, and a race tune is about as much as you can do to the n54 currently. Other then downpipes and intake. Most of these 335s with this setup run low 12s. Basically only the top bmw tuners have broken 11s.

Have you ever raced a E55? I raced a tuned 335 when I had a failing I/C pump and I lost each time. It had V3, race gas, FMIC, and downpipes.

You see if you would've read what I wrote you would clearly see that the guys driving the E63 were not the owners of the car but people who worked for Mercedes benz.
