CLK 63 Black Series, 2009 S550, 2011 Range Rover Supercharged, BMW F800 GS Anniv Edition
Thanks Jon - great video and those CLK's do sound amazing....Were they not running those Supertrapp exhausts to keep the sound down ?? Couple other questions....any idea which tires they were using ? Corsas ? Do you know what kind of times they were running ? Any idea what these cars weighed ?
Interesting they put the throttle blipping on these cars yet said it woud be too costly for the regular Black Series....Kinda rubs me the wrong way.

Doubt that would work as the ECU's are all VIN coded. Otherwise I'd just go buy C63 ECU and have it tuned...But again that presents problems as the stock Black Series ECU's have a much more agressive shift patterns and more agressive ESP programming. Seems we are stuck with what we have until a tuner can figure out how to do it. I'd still like to see what the MHP throttle blip is like....

Making 2 is easy. Ensuring reliability and deloying it is the very expensive part. I can find out the tires from pictures tonight. No idea on the weight.

Guys, I think I recall being told those cars had Motec type stand alone ECU's, therefore they can pretty much do anyting they want with blipping, torque limit override and ESP.

Car Whore
I was just about to remark on how that CLK63 had the throttle blipping! Thats pretty f'ing ridiculous that they don't release to the few CLK63 BS owners!

We were supposed to have it with the "improved" MHP tune but........NOPE still no throttle blipping unless it counts when I do it?

The tires are PZERO CORSAs (93Y)
265/30-19 front
285/30-19 rear
Treadwear reating of 60
These are the same tires they were using on the Red CLK65 BS
