Awesome, what time are you leaving on Friday? Caravan with me? The drag strip event is gonna be easy money, I hear the Viper that won it last year only runs low 11's LOL, but he's a fellow Chi town boy so I'll go easy on him. I heard there is a heavily modded Z06 entered, he might give me some trouble on the strip if he can drive it.

I am yet to have my classification figured out. One guy said Top Gun, one said Class A, and Alumar said I will probably be Class B. I wish I had a Benz that could compete, but I am going to run our "mildly" modded 335i, as it is damn near BS fast and very nimble. Either way, Team Germany will prevail in our classes. I have a couple things to attend to in Naperville on Friday before my wife and I can leave, but we should be leaving by the afternoon. Any chance you might have an extra spot on that car hauler if I break something down there? I doubt the BMW dealer in Indy will be nearly as mod friendly if I have to leave it. In fact, I would probably not escape Dryer-Reinbold with any sort of warranty if they saw my car.

My trailer is only equiped to haul one car, worst case if you break something I can have my buddy drive the Black Series home and you can put your car in my trailer...if we both break something you're out of luck. I've got all kinds of tools, floor jacks, generators and compressors on board so I've got you covered in that department.
BTW, where in Naperville do you live? I'm right at 95th & 59.

I know we(Alumar, JrCart, and I) have to be in Indy the night before for tech inspection, but is anybody interested in a drive down on Saturday to watch and cheer us on as we work our way through the domestics? I think Aleksander1099 was thinking about it.

I just realized that this is going on the same weekend as qualifying for the Indy 500, there will be lots going on around town all weekend.

ahhh, Shore Road, that used to be the drag strip way back in the day, every Friday and Saturday night there would be 20-50 people out there racing. It was great golf course on one side and the industrial park on the other, the cops would try to block us in from Diehl road and from Frontenac and North Aurora from the rear, cars and bikes flying everywhere, it was awesome...brings back some memories LOL

There's too much traffic and it's too populated over there to race safely anymore. Besides, there is a better spot about 2 miles from there in Aurora, it's a 7/10th's of a mile straight as an arrow smooth road with no driveways, side or cross streets, very safe, except no street lights so it's dark if you are running at night.

Winged Warrior event
Hey guys I'm new to MB world, and just picked up an 06 e55. I am from Lafayette, IN and I am planning on heading to the even to check things out. I am very good friends with Morgan and Mike from Bullrun. Morgan just informed me that she will not be able to attend the even at this time, but I believe we will be taking her car up there along with my E55. We were just at Morocco, IN a few weekends ago and the turn out was disappointing. Hope to meet some of you guys there at the Winged Warrior Event!-Chad

Hey hows it going! I sent Mike a message on bullrun.com to have morgan call when she was headed down. So are you guys driving her car down to show off at the show? Winged Warrior will be packed, so no worry about turnout.
If she can make it, she would really enjoy as it is one of the better events of the year. What time do you plan heading down? I represent Team Kleemann on Bullrun.com, applying for Season III.

I recently learned how large this event is and I hope to make it. A friend owns a local car shop and will be bringing his dyno dynamics to the show if anyone wants to make any pulls. Sounds like a good time and I hope to meet several of you guys.
