Guys, I am registered for this event as is alumar. Take a look at the link to Events and Gathering section below. This looks like an awsome event Domestic vs. Import in 1/4 mile, autocross, slalom and 0-100-0. We need a couple more MB's/AMG's to represent.

I am most likely going to be heading out early to mid-afternoon on Friday to try to beat some of the infamous Friday rush hour traffic on the IL/IN stateline. There is a test & tune at IRP that evening that is open to anyone. I'll probably make a few passes to get the car dialed in for that track and then find a nice adult establishment to waste the rest of my evening at, the Classy Chassis has always been good to me LOL.

Already signed up There is some serious competition already signed up. This is a great event (i have attended two of them).

If anyone has ever watched the show bullrun there are a few "bullrunners" that will be present.

Mike and Morgan Alsop - Winners of Season 1 of Bullrun, partaking on the Domestic Team

Morgan Alsop from Team Trans AM - Winners of last years Bullrun TV Reality series will be there representing Team Domestic... along with a few other Bullrun folks from this year's current TV show. If your in the midwest, even if your not going to sign up, it will be a hell of a event to watch.

I'm not sure if alumar PM'ed you or not, visit www.wingedwarrior.net or e-mail admin@wingedwarrior.net to see about any cancelations or walk on registration, as of yesterday I saw someone posted on the winged warrior forum that there were a couple spots still available. There is also a test & tune at the strip on Friday night.

That is in your neck of the woods; an event as bad *** as this...with you living in Indy, you should at least come out to watch, if not partake...

Jim, I registered for the event. I wouldn't mind coming out to the TnT Friday night, and maybe hitting up a club that night. Not real big on the Chassis, but Dancer's is always fun.

We can give it a shot, If they fit you can make a couple passes on them if you want. I have no idea what bolt spacing and offset you car requires, if your rear brakes are bigger than the Black Series rears you are probably out of luck, I had these wheels custom made, they are 17's and I only have a couple mm clearence.

It seems alumar is in good with the organizers of the event, hit the link I posted above, shoot them an e-mail and drop his name. It looks like J 2001 just got entered today. Lots of Vipers, EVO's and Vettes in the Top Gun Class, a couple more MB's would rock! I'm gonna have my hands full, although it appears the quickest car on the strip last year was a low 11 second Viper, I should be a contender for that event, the slalom on the other hand is going to be my weak point, I have never attempted to run a slalom in a car in my life

I just signed up for the show car. I have a CLS and a SLK. I'm probably going to bring the SLK.

The big thing this year is the use of different tires. The first few Winged Warrior events, they wanted it street tire only, which kept a lot of the big HP guys tamed, as nobody could get traction on the drag track...hell i came in 27th out of 130 with my old 317RWHP C32 3 years ago because of the limitation...

Now with folks in top gun, you can put on DR's and Autocross tires ... it makes things more interesting.

If anyone wants in on the event, i can prob get them in without an issue. There are still about 6 avail racer spots

I'm in and signed up!! I will be supporting the "Motherland" but from Bavaria, like Jason is. Maybe we can put a few kill signs on our fenders as we push our way through the domestic junk that we are going up against.

I'm excited, since I had a disappointing dyno on saturday. I knew something wasn't right so I got my high pressure fuel pump replaced today along with a new, nonboost dumping BMW software update. Now I should run down JrCart......just kidding

Awesome, what time are you leaving on Friday? Caravan with me? The drag strip event is gonna be easy money, I hear the Viper that won it last year only runs low 11's LOL, but he's a fellow Chi town boy so I'll go easy on him. I heard there is a heavily modded Z06 entered, he might give me some trouble on the strip if he can drive it.

Only a few weeks away can't wait! I was able to figure out my "rich" A/F situation so the car is gtg!

One of the O2 sensors was faulting and throwing a "lean" code; causing the fuel system to dump fuel ... killing the mixture...

Should be a good crew we got coming down from Chicago ... you guys call me when your near... i will be getting there Friday morning
