Thanks to Wayne, Tony and Function:Tuned. Had a great time and learned an awful lot from Wayne. Thanks for taking the time to teach me exactly what was going on with my car with each parameter change you were making. Not only that, but Wayne actually let me see the ecu maps. My engineering side couldn't resist and and I wanted to sneak a peek, but Wayne was more than happy to show it all to me, even with it's proprietary nature. Hell, he even let me upload the file to my ECU!
When it was all said and done, my car made 15hp and 20 ft-lb of torque at the wheels ABOVE AND BEYOND my current Evotech ECU tune (Baseline). So who knows what the number would've been on a stock ECU. And that same 12-15hp/20tq number was evident within the entire curve. All while A/F and timing running completely safe. Not bad for a N/A E500. It was 94* the whole ride home and I really never got a chance to stomp on it, so not much to report from my SOTP dyno.
Sorry to all for completely Bogarting the dyno for the first couple hours. Ended up taking 2 hours to tune my car and we didn't exactly start at 9:00am.
Thanks to all for coming out and a big to L.E.T. and Function Tuned for making it all happen.

SL55 AMG
Just got home not too long ago...it was nice meeting all of you good folks over there; looks like we indeed have a strong MB tuning and enthusiast floowing here in the DC/MD/VA region and we have some very fast cars.
I am looking to do my mods and then tune to optimise the combination; Ben (the other SL55 AMG) and I are gonna round up 3 other customers and we'll bring LET back into town at some point for another day like today; great meeting you guys Wayne and Tony; also looking forward to getting in touch with Ahmad for some ideas we had (H/E, TB, & headers) and Jay for some of his thoughts on the H/E setup.

Good seeing everyone and meeting new people. I saw some good gains but ran out of fuel so I will try putting in E55 injectors and retune.
Thanks to Wayne, Tony, and Funktion Tuned for taking all our money. Lol jk, great job guys. Looking forward to the next time
Awesome, definitely let me know when you are getting LET to come back because I need a retune after I put the E55 injectors in.
Sweet! What did I tell ya? That thing is going to be an absolute MONSTER at the track! Bring it to MIR May 8th

Long day at Function:Tuned.
I picked up 30rwhp and 55rwtq however was a bit disappointed with the overall hp of 349rwhp on my CLS 55 was expecting more even on this dynamic dyno. Thought these cars put out a lot more than that..this blows that 15-20% drive train loss outta the window. I might have some compressor pump issues according to the guys from L.E.T but we'll see. Oh, well I can most certainly feel the extra torque that I picked up.
Special thanks to Jon Winter (installed pulley this morning at 7am), Torrey (thanks for coming thru with that s/c belt ), jdubb55, Tony & Wayne.
Great meeting and greeting with all who was there.

It was a real pleasure meeting the new folks, as well as seeing some familiar faces.
As posted in E55baller's thread, the people who I get to work with at these events make the job truly enjoyable. Thanks again to everyone !!!

Out Of Control!!
SO when is the next tuning session? I just ordered SLR injectors and S65 fuel pump I also realized how much money I've dumped into the car in the past 2 months SO after this next retune I'm done for a longgggg time. I know Ben and Sunir make 2 new customers interested, we just need 3 more and they will come back out.

Ditto on the above post...I definitely want to experience your HSTC.
Any idea how different the DA was compared to the last time we dyno'd? I think I put down 468/555 with just my minor mods.
