Hey Marcus,
If I'm not mistaken, I believe he is the first SL with ANY upgraded front mount heat exchanger. (I could be wrong) I personally am not aware of any SL's that have an upgraded front mount HE.
OT...The wheels on yer SL are UBER SICK!~!

I installed a VRP front mounted heat exchanger in my SL55. I think they've done several others, too.

Thanks bro - car isn't lowered in the pic yet, but I'll have some new shots up with the car down soon.
Unless these pictures are at least two years old+, his car isn't the first with an upgraded heat exchanger on it. I've personally seen R230s here in Chicago with them and EVOSport has a thread in the R230 section where you can see an SL55 with their heat exchanger back in 2007. I even have one but it hasn't been put in yet.
Picture of EVOSport SL55 circa end 2007...
Not to take anything away from the thread, just trying to clarify.

SL55 AMG
like the above post, where are the dyno numbers? The car looks real good. Hoping we can get an idea of how much rwhp and rwtq the LT headers alone are making, any way to get that spec?

I have reserved Famoso for two seperate dates and planning two seperate events: one to be around the first week of December and the other around second week of January...... and if the weather cooperates in November, I'll do a mini-event in November as well Two dates perfect for breaking records

Hey Sun...I spoke to Serge, thanks for the advice....he's a nice guy and truly an out of the box thinker and fabricator; looks like he does LT's and full exhaust for my car as well as has some good ideas for the H/E setup for additional cooling.

These LT's will definitely cause clearance issues with the collector being positioned under the floorboard as the SL's chassis only warrants for mid-size tubes.

Any dyno sheets for this beast?

I know it's out there. I don't want to misquote numbers. Dyno numbers only show so much. There are so many variables...track numbers speak louder IMHO...
BUT
Dyno number say something about the car though...track numbers reinforce that number...
