The dealer can tell almost anything via the black box but this doesnt mean they will void warranties. Many an owner has done the Cobb A/P update and then when they made warranty claims they were covered even though the black box recorded such mods.
BTW there is a way to reset the BB

Paint those BBS rims Black like the M6 rims my brother! That would be more flavor or perhaps paint them white.

I can't believe the haters in that thread, saying the car is ugly and looks like crap. Those bimmer guys are douchebags and a half. They will bash anything without a BMW emblem, it's so predictable...
The thing I hated most about owning M's was dealing with the other owners at meets and online. A disproportionate number of them are really irritating...

I'm an M3 owner, I'm on that forum, don't group everyone together. Seems there are plenty of irritating Mercedes owners.

This place has changed pretty drastically in the last year or so. I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone specifically, and I have no theories as to what caused it, but this place is just much different than it used to be.

Well yeah, at this point, I can't not agree with you, because that has definitely become true around here. But you've gotta admit, it didn't always used to be that way...

Listen if your car is faster at the strip or on a road course...bravo! I'm glad for you and I'd hope you share your success with the board in way of technical information, new products, or driving tips. It seems we are getting away from that lately...internet egos get bruised and pissing contests ensue.
Hey...it's the internet so I don't take it to heart. I'd like everyone just to enjoy their ride(s) and realize how lucky we are...the alternative kind of sucks.

You're fleet is REMARKABLE.
That 997 in that profile shot might be the nicest car I've ever seen. All look amazing, but you can't beat that Porsche's straight-to-the-point, classic, exotic, aggressive, timeless and perfectly proportioned look.
Out of curiosity, how do you like the interior of the GTR? You obviously didn't buy it for that so I'm sure much thought hasn't gone into it, but I spent a 4+ hour road trip in my friends GTR last weekend, and it seems Nissan didn't put much attention into it (probably didn't need to).

Thanks and you are spot on about the P car and its classic lines plus heritage.
The interior of the GT-R is as expected for the price and the nameplate... maybe a little better. In regards to displays, nav, and other creature comforts I like it. I love that you can get almost all info about how the engine is performing or running. The Nav is great too. I dont care so much for the headliner or the lack of memory in the seats but Im the only one driving it so I can get by that issue. The seats are ok, but I wish the bolsters were better or adjustable. Overall its good and as you mentioned, it wasnt the deal breaker.

Nice, thanks
My friend is really enjoying his, only thing he doesn't like is all the attention from fanboys as you mentioned. It's funny because your comment on the girl factor is spot on with what he says. He says he gets tons of car nerds always blowing their wads all over it, haha.

Vic55,
I'm just curious, does the R35 still feel a bit 'stale/comfortable/Big-Old-Mercedes-Coupe to an extent' like at low-speed crusing? Cause I was talking with my father the other day, and we both agreed that his R32 GT-R behaves like this.. until he intstalled stiff as hell Zeal coilovers... and this holds true too for my friend with an R34 GTR, which I borrowed for a week because he flew out of the country....
just being curious that's all.. cause I know that R35 is a completely different animal.

My Porsche is lowered but remains more soft at all speeds while my M6 is similar at lower speeds to the GT-R with its KW V3's.
