E63 with Carbon Fiber Trims Original?
I have just finished purchasing the E63 yesterday to beat the CA tax increase on 4/1/09. It will be here in CA in a week or 2 from TX. Its an 08 E63 with the Parformance package with carbon fiber interior trims instead of the maple wood trim. I wonder if this carbon trim is original trims from the factory or after market? Hope it looks good. Also anyone know where to get the El lights door sills for the same vehicle? Thanks guys.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new purchase..... the E63 is a great car. You will love every second of it especially with the P30 package 
Most likely, the carbon fiber trim is original. Mercedes offers it as an optional extra from the AMG Performance Studio. If you have pictures, we should be able to compare it to the pictures of the original pieces and give you a better opinion.
The illuminated AMG door sills can be purchased from e-bay for cheap, but there are a lot of knock offs so be careful. If you want the real deal ones (genuine, high quality factory parts) then contact MBenzNL on this forum. He is the BEST

Thanks MB Forever. I got the message about the defuser. Is there a picture I can see how it looks like. The carbon looks like the attached pics. I am new at this forum, hope I attached the pics correctly.

I'm pretty sure it's genuine parts. I've seen the original Mercedes carbon fiber trim for the E-Class a few times before, and it usually has this very light brown/gray glaze to it, which seems to be apparent here.
When you get the car, take high resolution pictures and post them, maybe we'll be able to see more details.

I am pretty sure these are original especially when the car came with that p030 package. My cls63 has p030 package and carbon fiber and it looks pretty much the same.
