My dad's got a pretty nice P-car for sale, if you're interested.

1998 ("Last of the Line") 993 Twin-Turbo, 21k mi. Pastel Yellow / Black. No issues, perfect history. $69k firm. Pretty much eBay pricing, but the car isn't a typical eBay junker.

Hey no prob, just figured I'd throw it out there.

I've been eyeing the 996tt's online also, they are becoming so cheap it's getting harder to resist by the day. That'd be the last effin' thing I need with my driving record though.

You going to go protomotive on it, or mix n' match, or leave it stock? If you go for it, get the 2001+ TT, they have a de-tuned GT2/3 motor in them and can make sick power with mods. Only problem is the "name brand tax" on porsche is pretty bad, probably worse than you're used to with your benz.

Jay, may I suggest you get more descriptive here?
Those of us who know your car understand what you mean. However, some people might look at that line and say, "So what, every AMG is tuned by AMG."

How about:

- One off ECU/TCU tuning performed at Affalterbach by AMG engineers
or
- Specialty ECU/TCU tuning written and implemented at AMG
or
-Uber-tune coded by speed freak German engineers at AMG

None of them are perfect, but I think your original language doesn't give enough attention to a major benefit.

Hope you get your price.

Maybe protomotive or some other tuners with hybrid turbos

I appreciate the feedback Mike...I guess I shouldnt assume that most should know what I meant, I think I might steal some of your wording

+1

When you think about it....it is extremely impressive that the "little" 5.5L V12TT in Jason's car is still faster than RENNtech (even with c/f airboxes) and Kleemann tuned CL65's 6.0L V12TT. That goes to show you that the AMG engineers who tuned his ECU and TCU have control over parameters that outside tuners still can not access. His car makes alot more torque earlier in the rev range than those other cars. It makes me wonder just how fast his car would be with the VRP intake and intercoolers....to me it would be the best of both worlds...

Might I suggest, "Supercalifragilisticexpialodociously AMG-tuned ECU!" That's so good I just might copyright it...hehe. JK

Seriously though, you have a sick car. I dunno why you're selling it. P-cars are nice, don't get me wrong, but they're a toy. It's not a real car like your CL. They ride like a Mack truck over bumps, there's no storage room, they're noisy, and you will get tired of the stick shift eventually. I hope you have something else to use as a DD, or you will get sick of it after awhile.
