Roll call... Who's down for Firebird This Friday. Lots of you guys have driven out to Speedworld and thats a hike for a lot of you. This time I will put the miles on my car and drive down to Firebird.

I will be going for the C55 1/4 mile record (Dragtimes) in my AMG/Dyno-Comp blown C55. Would be nice to get some other Benz's out there.

I'm having a power steering pump installed tomorrow and I should be good to go.

So who's down?

Possibly...I may be going out with a chick that night. Then again, I could just bring her along...

I've got a buddy who is heading to Speedworld on Saturday for the Pontiac event. He is done rebuilding a '68 GTO with a pretty snappy engine (on the order of 800hp) so this will be the first time down the drag. I may be going along...maybe.

Im down like i said in your other post me brother is gonna run his SRT8 jeep for the first time , Im gonna try running with 20's for the 1st time ( I'm broke cant afford DR's lol) then gonna try and talk my dad in coming out with his SL600 brabus T12 package. Anyone ever seen a T12 run? what should he expect?

on street tires...high 11's if he can get off the concrete without too much wheel spin.

if this many people are going, i may just show up whether my car's ready or not.

ya he has a set of 295 PS2's in the rear but still cant hold it very well. I'm hoping i can get him to come he always tells me I'm "trashing" my car when i go , but this is the last time for me until october or november because i dont have any cooling mods yet.

Time is running out for good drag racing weather here in AZ.... if it already hasn't.

I think josh (jturkel) is bringing his C32. Also I'm bringing along with a good friend from the shop.

I will try to make it. Unfortunately, I just came down with an awful cold, consisting of the flu and allergies and i currently have a 102.2 fever. i will really really try to make it as I want to see all of your cars (particularly Hooley's new setup) and want to see what my car will run on my new setup, but unfortunately, no guarantees though

Oh come on with a little practice you'll have those 11's before you know it. Remember how slippery it was last friday night? After we left a buddy crashed his super pro car just after crossing the finish line. Imagine tire spin at the 1/4 mile mark

I'm out in PHX once in a while and I'd love to go with you guys next time! I've never taken my C55 on the track before but I have quite a few runs in my other cars down at Firebird!
