I am pretty sure this makes our M5 Quicker than any Mercedes in the US.. Not too bad for an all motor factory car with a little nitrous..

Looking back @ their results w/same M6 & suposed 150 shot...

Their 1/4 ET dropped .33 tenths, they still claim to only use 150 Shot, yet the 60 FT time went DOWN & the TRAP went UP nearly 3mph? When you drop 0-60 FT your TRAP goes down, UNLESS they're spraying a good deal more than 150 Shot(obviously) even more telling on the 1/8 mile Trap increased by 5.6 MPH
This similar 2006 M5 admits using a 100 Shot of NOS

1/4 Mile MPH: 126.350
1/8 Mile ET: 7.624
1/8 Mile MPH: 96.960

You have to give the devil its due...it is a really impressive showing ...especially that 60' time. Think about it, it is a car weighing about 4,200lbs and even with a 175 shot it is only making 485lbs-ft of rwtq. Yet it is now cutting 1.57s 60' times. You have to be impressed with that.
Personally, my car will never see nitrous....but that is my choice. The 1/4 mile track timers don't have a choice and don't give a cr@p about what mods are done to a car.... it just measures its time and speed. Right now, this particular M5 has the fastest ET...end of story. I am sure we have a couple of MB owners out there that are chomping at the bit to take back the crown. Competition is a good thing....especially now when we can focus our rivalry externally.

The 60 foot time is outstanding, but I wouldn't call BS on it just because he has "low" torque numbers. There are fbody's and mustangs cutting those 60 foot times with significantly less torque.

Definitely agree that it's a tool shed comment. I don't agree with him saying that the car is "all motor" with just a little nitrous. A little nitrous makes it NOT an all motor car, period. All motor means naturally aspirated; no power adders of any kind, factory or otherwise.

Those cars mentioned don't weigh 4,334lbs with driver either... those other cars probably have much higher power (in this case torque)-to-weight ratios. That is what makes it that much more impressive.
