I seriously have zero respect for any/all USE of NOS, you can strap it to any platform & run crazy times, for a whopping 15-30 sec max on bottle. I'm just not impressed by it, I'm more impressed by what a N/A built big block, Supercharged, or Twin Turbo'd vehicle can do everyday 100% of the time..

a few things seem difficult to believe. first a 1.60 60ft and second, only 127mph. both seem WAY off for that platform. i'd like to know what all his other runs looked like that night before i can make any sense out of it.

+1 I agree with Chiro. Hard to tell and make some assumptions on how the car is running. Then again it is what it is...congrats to the owner. The trap seems in par with what M5Ranger is running. His car has about 580rwhp...same as this one.

some kind of progressive nitrous system so it's probably not 100% all the time, the ET and MPH line up given the very aggressive launch, 1.6 60'!
Sounds like he's going to try for better times this week, a cold front is coming in, I'll head out there as well... see if I can hit 10's one last time before the cool weather is gone....

that's my point. he has to be spraying out of the hole to cut that kind of 60ft. but if that was the case, i'd expect an even higher trap out of an m5 since they're already trapping low 120's with minimal mods. ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
good for him either way...

does make you wonder what the hell was wrong with those asr nitroused cars since they were supposedly running a similar shot of n2o but 3/4 of a second slower.

What about this thing?

Two versions with 730 and 805hp. Wouldn't this "Hurricane" be faster then the M5 on spray? I'm pretty sure with 805hp your pushing more then 580 to the wheels.
Just curious I suppose since it says "world quickest and fastest M5"... Really? What about the "Hurricane?"

Hey come on man
once you see how much work and time and tech it takes to get a nitrouse system to work perfect and within the settings as to not blow the motor or do damage, I think you may respect it a little.. I thought the same way but once I started to install it on MY CLS63 holly sh*t.. I do agree with you that all N/A is great but you would have to do a full motor build to get even some what close to thos #'s and once you get in that deep then the bottle would be A MUST

As far as NOS goes I'll never use it, & think it's pointless to compare to other platforms that aren't using it in same competition, I understand there's a certain degree of expertise involved to proper use etc...

remember E60 M5s have Launch Control, so he may have been able to achieve those times with just some very stick rubber & launch control. If he sprayed right out of the hole he would have just spun the tires.
+1 on NOS hate... utterly stupid

i guess it's possible he has euro software but nobody has been able to make u.s. lc work at the track so i'm leaning more toward spray to achieve that 60ft time.
