I've heard you can actually only go 2mm on the bore.... just wondering if anyone has ever actually done this. Thought while I'm waiting for some parts and I have the throttle body out, it might be worth it (but I'm not sure it would be?). Would have to bore throttle body, make new flap and bore out the SC Inlet and possibly the 80mm y pipes (if possible?) Sounds like it might not be cost effective, but not sure.... feedback?

Like you said, it would be lots of work and I think people are realizing we want more. 2mm isn't much, I wouldn't do it. I have not actually seen one shaved though but there isn't much metal there.

The 2008 SL55 has an 80mm throttle body its $1000 from the dealer, just get that. I am.
