Silver E55s

Can you guys post pics of your silver E55s?

The only fully-loaded '06 I can find on eBay is silver... so I might have to settle. I'm more of a black car kinda guy though...

Sorry Kenny, I have black on black...I think black is more aggressive than silver, but I could be wrong. No offend to those that have silver E55..

I wouldn't settle. Everytime you look at that silver paint, you're going to wish it was black. It's hard to do, but I'd wait it out. Paint color isn't something that's easy/cheap to change like wheels.

But then everytime you wash your car you wish it was silver. I had a black 5 series when it was clean I loved it.
It is very hard to maintain a black car all the imperfections, chips, swirl marks, stand out.
That is why I bought a silver e55.
I have to agree black looks more agressive than silver.
If my e55 was not my daily drive I would get it in black.

I dont mind washing it

Ugh, I've been looking for weeks

I want every option (except parktronic or distronic)...

2006 (just because the mileage is in my range)... 30-40k miles

Black leather, gray wood

Under $38k... no luck

Might have to settle on a different car...

Silver says it all

I agree black is more aggressive but it tends to hide the body lines of the car. You cant really see the lines of the side skirts and aprons. Hard to keep clean.

Silver says it all.

Silver E55 AMG...

I had always gone with the black benz. I decided to go with silver this time and it has really grown on me. The Pano roof makes a difference too...

Unless you are really careful and super **** with the paint... Black is a nightmare !!!

My wife has a black X5 and I cringe every time I wash it. I swear it needs a once a month clay baring. I hate nothing more then when you detail you car and it still looks dirty or a big spider just webbed that bithc up !!

Go silver!!
