2004 E55 AMG
Any good performance shops in Michigan??

I have a 2004 E55 and am looking into doing some mods. Possibly headers, pulley, tune and whatever else. Does anybody know of a reputable shop that knows what they are doing???? I am in the suburban Detroit area.

Thanks

Bill

Even though it is far, I highly recommend you take a ride down to chicago to eurocharged/LET. They do AMAZING work, at really good prices!

Detroit Speed Shops (aka Livernois Motorsports), but they are traditionally aimed at domestic makes.

Motorwerks in Commerce Twp is the shop you want. Website is http://www.motorwerksgroup.com/.

They focus on imports--especially German cars--and they know their stuff. They've handled all the non-DIY mods on my car (VRP throttle body and crank pulley, SLR cams, Quaife differential, etc.) as well as for a bunch of other guys on the forum (BMS, Jokerzwld, etc.).

I'd suggest stopping by to see their shop and chat about what you have in mind for your E55. Satish Tummala is the owner and is active in the business. Billy Mains is the driver-in-residence. His actual title is something else but I can't recall it off the top of my head. You'll want to visit when one or both of them are available.

Feel free to post here or send me a PM if you want any additional info.
