SL65 AMG, X5-4.8i M-Sport, 530D, 528i
Is this really a Brabus, as far as I know Brabus build their SV12S based on the SL600, not the SL65-AMG, from Brabus homepage:
“The Brabus engineers and designers have left no stone unturned to make the Mercedes SL-Class even sportier and more exclusive. Equipped with the Brabus SV12 S Biturbo twelve-cylinder twin-turbo engine that delivers 730 hp (537 kW) the SL 600 turns into the world's most powerful roadster. 0 - 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and 200 km/h after just 10.9 seconds speak to its prowess as does its top speed electronically limited to 350 km/h.”

The dude who posted the video claims that the Brabus SL65 has 564rwhp. An SL65 with just an ECU tune should hit that #. They also claim an air intake and "catback" exhaust. There is no way it was the full blown Brabus SV12 with modified turbos and 6.3L.
I doubt that a stock ZR1 would put that kind of distance on a 564rwhp SL65 in such a short time frame. A 564rwhp SL65 is still capable of trapping around 125mph in the 1/4 mile. A stock ZR1 should push close to 130mph (the 130mph magazine trap speed is gps based while track trap speeds are an average over the last 66ft). That 5 mph difference is significant... but that video is showing a HUGE difference in speed in a much shorter run.

Of course I still think the ZR1 would take it.

Correct..... Brabus does offer tuning only packages similar to RennTech and Kleemann's ECU/TCU tuning. There is a person in the C63 section from Dubai who has a CL65 Brabus and C63 Bullit, which he raced and the Bullit (fully built Brabus engine) pulled on the modded AMG engine in the 65.

The ZR1 driver was shifting weird, he shifts fast but it sounded like a horrible power shift. He was engaging to much clutch....or the camera mic was crappy!

Don't forget about Power to Weight Ratio! A ZR1 should pull it, maybe it would be a different race if it was the 800Tq SL by Brabus that Top Gear had.

I watched the video and then a couple others similar popped up, well they had ZR1 in the title.
Texas mile video

Race track video that lasts over four minutes and every time I was about to shut it off I just couldn't. Kind of like a real good song you're listening to, you need to go but you don't.
