Also, Anthony from TVT is a stand up guy and very easy to work with. I felt very comfortable with him from the first time I spoke to him. And, from the time I dropped my car off to him, he followed through on every single thing he promised and said he would do. He even went above and beyond on a number of small issues he found with the car.
If anyone is considering using TVT in the future, feel free to contact me personally for a more in depth review of them. ANd, if you would like to see or take a ride in my car, I am more than happy to help out.
I sent you an email on your youtube account.

The Intake system looks very interesting. Anthony, can you post up more pics and details about the system? Thanks

I'm not disputing whatever performance gains you're claiming; you simply misstated some facts on the stock exhaust.

What's the appearance of the resonator have to do with anything?
What is your endgame here? Every time TVT posts results, someone gets a hard-on to make waves, and I just don't understand the venom. The last time I defended them/him, I was accused of being a shill for the company.
What is the point of arguing over millimeters? Sheesh!

No end game at all. Was just correcting some erroneous information that was posted. I think it's a good thing when tuners post factual info about our cars; nothing more, nothing less.

Oh so its not just before the filters. Thanks for that clarification, the photo is a tad small so its hard to tell.

How much of a difference will the intake tubes alone make?

That car is perfect! The white with tinted tails! Also, I noticed no metallic raspyness with the exhaust setup. It sounds, refined, clean, and deep all at the same time. I hear the loud whine as well but that beast's exhaust note really overpowers all in a very good way. Are you guys taking it to the track to see what she does in the 1/4 mile?

Kevin may post up more pics, but it is basically 2 3" aluminum pipes in place of the plastic inlet pipes. They are attached with silicone couplers. The tubes are Mandrel bent and maintain 3" diameter all the way through.

I'll post pics of all the pipes measured tomorrow.

As noted before, 40 RWHP+ and 65 RWTQ+. Some customers have also reported 10-15 more mpg and a more pleasant mood.

And intake tubes, filters, plugs and wires, and pump. These items are essential for good torque and keeping it in the higher RPMs. The exhaust is what put us over the previous record...

Kevin will be taking it there. If it doesn't put down numbers I like, he will be fired as head driver and we will have someone fill in. Kevin is unaware of this.

I'm sure with stakes that high he better run something good! Good luck to him!

I am going to take the car Friday night.......but as I maintained before, this will only be my second time at the track, AND I have bald tires. (These are the excuses I will maintain through my time slip posting on Saturday)
Guess we will see how it goes. But, I had a modded 996 Porsche Turbo, a Lambo Gallardo, and have driven many other cars, and this car is fast, really fast! The question about the torque, I am not sure where that comes from, being that the dyno sheet was posted. It was right there in black and white, what the numbers were.

Waiting for the mod list for round 2 from Anthony!!!

Sorry I missed it before. But seriously... those kinds of upgrades for under $200?

Will I have any problems if I just do this upgrade?

Anyone know how this will affect my warranty?

You were typing this as i was thinking it.

Is this for real? How much to ship them? It will either be to Scottsdale, AZ or to Canada...please give me both estimates.

If you click the "more images" button under the pic, it shows them from the sides. I think they look pretty good in the engine bay, too.

Lol. It would be freaking awesome if I could get that kind of power for under$200. How much would shipping be to L.A, California? And how long would something like this take a professional to install? Maybe we could even get a group buy.

Please tell me no one took me seriously with that. But if you did send me a blank check and I'll send you the finest upgrades money can buy. We're talking turbonators, electric superchargers, Ebay power chips, anything by Sun Automotive, and all the "improve your gas mileage" pills for your gas tank that I can fit in the box.

As for the numbers, the graph is posted in the other thread. For some reason I can't reload into this thread and I'm not computer literate enough to figure out a way to do it.

come up to 1320 dyno day on the 25th. i just got evosport headers and will get my car tuned by LET for them. so it will be similar in mods to yours except my pulley is a 175mm evosport and my headers are evosport, i also have a 80mm tb and a heat exchanger. i am curious to see how my new numbers will compare to yours on same dyno and same day.

Lol. I didnt get a chance to read it all as I'm sitting in class. But I like your sense of humor "more pleasant mood" lol.

But seriously, as sad as it is I only have about $200 to spend on engine mods (I know that cant get me anything), would I be better off getting the intake tubes or a sprintbooster? No sarcasm please, I dont have time to read between the lines, I'm supposed to be paying attention to Jeff Pinkner who's in our class talking about "Fringe".

Now you are really pulling my leg! "10-15 more mpg" puts us into the fuel economy of Honda Civics! We're going to get 25-30 mpg total with this intake system??
