Hey guys, I really want to get a sprintbooster, and as cheap as they may be (compared to other mods) money is really tight right now, but if I really like it I'm wiling to pay for it.

Is there anyone in L.A with a SB that would work with an E55 that would be willing to meet up with me so I can try it out in my car? I'd only want to try it out for like 5 minutes, I'll probably know right away if I want it or not.

Please let me know, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

I know West Covina mercedes dealer carry that. They give you 100% money back guarantee. They will install it for you over there. You should go there and get one, you got nothing to loose.

That's interesting... I haven't heard of anyone in California giving 100% money back on electronic parts that have been installed.

I had it in both of my cars... I had the original version.. NON AMG.

Basically it was more aggressive that the AMG version.

The AMG version was released later.

Basically MPG sucks... you will be driving in C mode most of the time and S mode is way to aggressive around town.

I removed it and sold it.

Now with my current set up, its just about as good as having sprint booster in S and C mode.

BTW: LET tuning runs just a few hundred more than $375 West covina charges for the Sprint Booster.

They can flash your car with a lap top. If you are So Cal.. Code3performance can do it for you.

I drove to Camarillo for my tuning and dyno session and it was set up by Code3 and LET (wayne and Jerry)

Hey W211 Beast,

That sounds awesome bro... I wont be getting it until June anyways (after my LSAT). I would really appreciate it if I could try it out. Ever since I've signed on to this board I've been hearing that the SB is the best bang for the buck mod. I know it doesnt help performance, but I heard it makes driving more enjoyable which is all I need.

Let me know when you're coming into town, I really do appreciate it man.
