As for which I would take...SLR hands down, the lambo is cool, but come on have you seen a black or blue SLR?

Red interior?...the sound?

The two hot circular bubbles it makes from the side exhausts if you look at it when it’s coming at you straight?

Have you seen the matt black one on 6 speed?
Let’s not forget it’s a Super car…not a sports car. Rivals are Enzo/ Carrera GT… the merci at the time was no match

And oh…I have seen around 3-4 SLR 722’s here and an SLR GT

Such evil monsterous venom are in those cars

Just think what a modded SLR would do
Agreed, the strip will provide better traction at the launch. However, I am more interested in seeing how my car's 60-150mph split compares to the SLR. The SLR did 0-60mph in 3.9s and 0-150mph in 16.9, so in effect it did a running 13.0s from 60-150mph. For that interval, traction will not be an issue for either car (assuming temps aren't exteremely cold). I have a feeling that even on stock tires, my car will come pretty close to that 13.0s time. For comparisons sake, I have data logged a best 60-100mph time of 3.87s (done on a road in Mexico) and 4 runs at the track all between 4.05s and 4.13s. Admittedly, the 3.87s run was on a very cold day...but because it was so cold, traction was an issue even at 60mph. The SLR is running that same interval in 4.0s

Is it fair comparing a stock SLR to a modified CL65....no it isn't...but the SLR is a bench mark of performance and let's face it...life isn't always fair.

On this given day, at this given track, with the given conditions, the SLR won... nobody really knows how other super cars would fare unless they were there at that point in time.

Obviously an E55 would lose to the SLR in almost any condition right? But an LP 560-4s should put up a better fight... I think the Mas, Ferrari, and R8 were spot on. Now what about a ZR1

With the SLR being the king dingaling of MBZ, they should have had at least a 599GTB, or the LP640 there.
or a ZR1

sorry Vic, I didn't see your comment on the ZR1 until now. I see we are on the same page
