hey Az member any of you guys going next saturday to speedworld? I keep telling my self im going to go then i never make it out. I have only ever ran twice at the track but that was with stock wheels and almost bald Invos but still managed a 1.8xx 60ft time. so I want to see what I will run with 20's plus a set of the TVT intake pipes and a new Heat Exchanger ( Thanks Mikey for the recommendation). Hope you guys had some good times tonight!!

Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it out. My flight back in from Dallas was delayed so I got home at around 530pm and just couldn't stomach jumping in my car and driving out to Speedworld after being out of town all week.
Anyway, I too am curious to know how that HSTC helped? I'm sure I would've heard from Mikey to grab a beer if he got kicked out so...

Are you running a torque converter similar to LET's setup?

first run out i wanted to get used to the hstc so i decided to work up to my hard launches where i punch it off idle. so soft launching by only flashing the rpms to 1600 netted a 1.63 60ft time and a sub 11.5 pass so i got kicked off until evan could work his magic. an 1.63 on a soft launch meant this converter is going to really knock off some time!!!
after getting back on the track i tried to bring rpms up again before an all out launch. the next two times i brought the rpms up to 2200. broke the tires loose both times. i'm in need of new d/r's as these are past the wear bars and have more heat cycles than they should so it just wasn't happening.
last run...around 1am! i tried stalling to about 1800rpm to find that happy middle ground where the tires would still work...and it happened again...think i broke another axle (won't know for sure until i get it on the lift later).
before you jump to conclusions...this wasn't the converters fault. i got lined up partially in the groove...one tire hooked and the other didn't. as i feathered to find traction, the tire that was spinning caught traction suddenly and that's when i heard the "pop". lol, i still limped down the track to a 11.56. i think good d/r's would have prevented this problem by giving me the initial traction i needed.
it was so late that i didn't want to get everyone there all worked up trying to help me and i was too pissed to call a flatbed so i limped her home...funny noises and all.
i'll post with the diagnosis later.

2005 Crossfire SRT6
My best last night was a 12.02 so he might of had a chance. I won first round tree'n a motorcycle dialed at 10.59 to my 12.03 dial. The bike cut an awful .211 to my .017 and then broke out trying to run me down. He ran a 10.51 and I ran a 12.0319 on my 12.0300 dial.
I had to race my good buddy on his harley for the final. He beat hooley first round, then the mustang that beat mikey(tough race the mustang ran 11.86 on his 11.85 dial). Again he tried to get me at the lights and red lighted. Yea, my first win for 2009. Off to a slow start this season.
Maybe next trophy race Hooley and I will line em up. Hooley didn't go away without feeling the sting of the crossfire. A buddy of mine showed up from Sedona with his Black SRT6. With the help of a 30 shot of NOS he took Hooley heads up.
Hooley post that video up.
Juicee his car sounds insane. It sounds like no other V8 MB out there.
Also those numbers for Hooley came on 2500' DA at it's best last night. Mikey's 11.49 was at 2800' DA early in the night. With negative DA you can only guestimate.

He had his chance and blew it. He tried to deep stage on me and rolled the beams and turned on the reds.
