thinking 04/05 E55, but need input on cost of owning/maintenence post warranty!
Im thinking about an 04/05 E55 with under 30k miles, I've seen some CPO (05's) which really only adds only a year of warranty left give or take a few months so that isnt something im relying too much on 
...I wanted to know from current/past owners of E55's what you've experienced cost wise in maintaining these beasts post warranty...around how much do you spend yearly to keep these things running (excluding normal services costs)
...Also for those of you that are in 40-100k+ area with your 55's, what kind of costs are you seeing on avg per year to fix/replace parts etc to keep it running?
if you guys wouldnt mind posting your current mileage, thatd be helpful too to see cost/mileage relation

Depends on the condition of the cars... if you search the forum, it could be ranging from as bad as engine/trans rebuild/replacement.... to as good as nothing.
For me, best bet is to have at least 1 year of warranty remaining.... that way, you could have time to get all the problems worked out.
Mine is so far so good.... just couple minor things that got fixed under the warranty... my money pretty much goes to the mods and regular service
