How many of you guys in the Chicago area are planning on attending this meet/event? Looks like a good one. Several of my friends and I will be heading out of Naperville around 7:30 am. We are going to meet up at the Caribou Coffee at the NE corner of Rt 59 and 95th Street (by the Jewel/Osco) in Naperville between 7:00-7:30. It's only a short 16 mile ride to the event, but a caravan will be fun. I've got a R8, a 996tt, a Continental GT, M5, a few M3's, a modded R32 and some other cars already joining us for the caravan, the more the merrier. The event is open to any and all european cars and bikes.

Jim,

I will likely stop by, however joining your caravan wouldn't be very practical as I am coming from the north shore. Would be good to get some Benz representation.

alaksander, it would be cool if you came out to Naperville, but the event is right in your backyard, Naperville would be WAY out of your way. You're in Hinsdale, right? This event is in Willowbrook which is only a few blocks from Hinsdale but feel free to join us, either way looking forward to seeing you again...If you do meet up with us behave LOL, you are a bad influance on me, remember our last caravan trip? I sense trouble

Let me refresh your memory

Hey guys, I got my car back from the MB dealer (pulley and flange replacement) and will try to make this event. I'm coming from Milwaukee....how many more would be coming from the North Shore area? If anyone else is, do you guys want to meet somewhere and head over to the event? I'll talk my uncle into driving his SL55 so we'll have more Benz representation!!!

I read on the Eurosunday website that they have corral parking for anyone who shows up by 9:00am, I assume by "corral parking" they mean sectioned off parking for each make of car, a section for MB's, a section for Bimmers, a section for Porsches, etc. If we all get there early enough we can just look for each other in the MB section.

I'm not sure if the changed the date or I am just a screw up but one of my buddies was on the Eurosunday website yesterday and said the Chicago date is 5/17. I'm not sure where I got the 3rd from So it looks like this is 2 weeks away. I will still be attending and all my buddies are planning on meeting at the same place.

Last Call...are any of you guys planning on meeting up with me in Naperville? Let me know, I don't want to leave anyone behind. Once again there are a handful of us meeting at the northeast corner of IL RT 59 and 95th St in the parking lot in front of the Caribou Coffee, there is a Jewel/Osco in the same shopping center, we are going get there around 7:30-7:45 and pull out by 8:00am the actual Eurosunday event is only about a 30 min drive from this point.
