After getting a BS speeding ticket yesterday, does anybody have any thoughts about radar detectors? Is the V1 really the best? I have been extremely lucky, but I guess when going from a 35 to a 25 you have to slam on your brakes to get down there quick, otherwise you're done.

I have a Beltronics STi and like it. V1 is good too.

Honestly, a radar detector is really a must-have in today's environment. That and a good lawyer. Cops are out for blood lately. $$$$

man. you got a lot of free time in your life to deal with this stuff. After watching that video, I seriously don't understand why you got arrested. may be other cops on these boards will care to explain what law he broke, but to me that guy didn't anything wrong
