Fuel Injector Data

here is a website i found awhile back with bosch fuel injector part numbers and flow numbers.
http://www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/flow.htm
http://www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/flow.htm
unfortunately, still no show for SLR injector
in any case it seems that SLR fuel system is quite different than in 55K:
- 2 fuel pumps there (in parallel , just to double the pressure .. ) instead of 1 only
- 2 pressure regulators, instead of one
and ... even one thing which seems a "fuel cooler" (part n. 1404760217)

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but according to the BOSCH techies the SLR injectors are rated at 339 grams per minute. That's 44 pounds per hour, which is 462cc/min. All of that is at 43.5psi of fuel pressure.
Assuming the SLR runs 80psi of static fuel pressure like the other v8 AMG cars, the injectors are then rated at 59.6 lb/hr(625cc/min).
If you want to figure out what your injectors will flow at a different pressure use this formula:
*Square root of* (new pressure/old pressure) *times* injector flow
Assuming the SLR runs 80psi of static fuel pressure like the other v8 AMG cars, the injectors are then rated at 59.6 lb/hr(625cc/min).
If you want to figure out what your injectors will flow at a different pressure use this formula:
*Square root of* (new pressure/old pressure) *times* injector flow

Thank you !
. so finally we got the comparo: 462cc of SLR vs 412cc of 55K
ps: please post a link for those SLR data

The numbers I posted were numbers generated by flow testing both sets of injectors
The NA V8 AMG cars do not run 80PSI static fuel pressure
The NA V8 AMG cars do not run 80PSI static fuel pressure

Great info!! Anyone know what the S, CL, SL 65 V-12 injector size is? Maybe be another good option.

Sorry. Definitely not 560cc, it was 516 or 517. I can check for you when I get home

That would make the injectors flow 519cc/min. Pretty close .
I just got bored and called acting like a concerned SLR owner lol. The techy emailed me back with the info.

So how can you get more flow out of the v12 ones? I think I need more fuel, I hear detonation when I floor it when engine is over 90*C. Kleemann tune increased the boost and now I need more fuel.
