Hi guys


I was driving home from work and when I started a car a following message came up: "Engine level not when engine on"

What a heck does it mean? I tried search button, but didn't find anything


Please help me out on that one

You checked your oil, and the car told you that that operation is not possible when the engine is running.

 

Maybe it said "Oil level not when engine on" meaning the engine needs to be off to measure oil level Just a guess..

 

Last time I opened my hood like 3 weeks ago.

 

I also thought about that. probably a small glitch then, I was star getting worry and go to dealership but now I think it is not a big deal. I will check on it again tomorrow.

 

You can't check the oil under the hood, it is electronic.
Do you have the owners manual?

 

I do have it, but I never used it. I guess it is time to open a manual
