Feeler:custom surge tanks
Whats up guys & girls. Its Hooley, AKA Hooleyboy. I have become a sponsor in hope to develop so cool parts. As some of you know I have a C55 with an AMG retrofit supercharger. I'm going to be developing some surge tanks for the 55k that flow much better than stock.
After the R&D is done on my car and then on a CLS55. I plan on bringing something to the table for you guys that makes power. Then I hope to get ChiroMikey out from behind his message table and fitted with some surge tanks and see what kind of numbers he can put down on the dyno.
I've teamed up with some great guys... So if there is an interest in this type of product I can make it happen.

The surge tanks will mount in their stock location. just like the normal one I hoping to have them fitted with velocity stacks to improve the way the air get to the motor.
My story goes like this.... Over the past few years I have build up some great relationships with some great local people. I've been a member of MBworld since 2007 under the user name "Hooleyboy"
I've found in my own Modding journey, parts that I want for my AMG are just not available. Rather than have one part made just for me and be a total "one off" custom job, I want to make the "go fast" parts I'm getting available to you guys. So I became a sponsor as of today.
After getting in trouble, with sharing some idea's and willingness to help with some product development. I was only fair to other sponsors and the site that I became a sponsor too.
The way I see it is... I'm a member first, and by technicality i'm now a sponsor. I've seen first hand members be taken on this forum. So I hope to bring to the table a scene of trust and honesty from a member that has almost 1900 post under my user name "hooleyboy".
To be perfectly honest I dont have a shop. and I would never front that I do like a past sponsor did. Why Lie? In fact I wanted Internet Brands to just use my user name "Hooleyboy" as the sponsor name. What I do have is the ability to get stuff made. It seems like we have a lack of hardware for our cars these day and I'm going to change that.

Awesome, I really look forward to some of your innovative ideas to extract more power out of our motors. Its good to see a member taking the initiative to develop some parts even though you're not a fabricator yourself. If you can get reasonably priced parts for members, I think you'll do well. Keep us informed when you have some prototypes made and best of luck!

you know how we roll in az jangy. we have some of the best fabricators that nobody has ever heard of...at least until they shake up the amg market that is. so it's likely you won't have heard of everyone involved.
