Another fire in Santa Barbara! ***** pigster wouldn't let me pass to my house!!

Even showed him my ID/drivers License, luckily I know the back streets PHUKIN LAME HIGHWAY PATROL DICK'S

Fire broke out about 1:45pm about an 1/8 mile from home, luckily NO structures burned, & winds are headed AWAY in South easterly direction, up & over the neighboring hills. (if winds change w/sundowners home is toast)

Fire Dept is on it like stink Helio's dropping tons of water from local reservoir (which is luckily very close to actual fire)

Prayers go out to any neighbors in the fires path...

Sucks to hear that. Did you make it to the house yet? Saw the fires on the news--pretty damn large! Hope your home is okay.

4 wheeled car.
I haven't heard anything about it, which is good news. If I did, like the last couple of fires, then it's bad news. Hopefully I won't have to post up by your house to protect it from looters like last time.

I don't live on Foothill...Off La Vista

Yes it appears to be mellowing out, we never got the crazy sundowner 60mph winds like the T-fires. (lots of areas are w/out power, not me)

Vader tell your parents I apologize for the multi-burnouts over the yrs J/K....La Cumbre intersection w/Foothill was blocked, I had to sneak around the back roads to Duncan & take the forbidden left hander back to Foothill...

The E55 is a boat but very agile with the RennV2 and HRE's Falkens.
My best runs were with my COmp ZCPM3 with Coilover and sway bars.
Even better that the GT3..The GT3 was a little scary becuase they put the engine in the worng place, the BWM drove like a dream, it had a good steering ratio and drifted like a ****ing champ!!!
We will run it though and terrorize the foothils, come back at Rincon, hwy run, into cito beach run and up state to floss on all the Mexicant's in the Civics.

My Man! had know idea you made her into such a cyn carver In comparo my old C6 Vette got sideways/drifting fun everywhere, felt a bit floaty when really pushing it @ high speeds vs the heavy SL she feels planted & stable @ high speeds & in moderate twisty's on smooth roads.

Sounds like a great tire warmer from your past exp in other rides def sounds like I'll be a voyeur trailing behind!

Damn you socal guys have it so nice, but then I see the fires and I get scared...

I really do want to see what it's like out there sometime, looks like absolutely the most beautiful place in the world when it's not burning. I hope you make it through, good luck.

Hope you still have your digs after what I have seen. If we don't hear a reply, the fire may have got to you guys. Deepest simpathy from the MB gang.

I have a house just so of the fair grounds next to Hope Ranch. Looks safe for now due to the fact the fair grounds is the stagging for the FD.

I have to disagree whole-heartedly at this statement....
My life / material possessions / home / piece of mind -
are much more important to me than an area of town.....
