We are currently doing a K04 swap on a All road......2.7TT....it should have 460HP

Heh. Those cars are a totally different world from these... I've ran my car at 35psi on a 57-trim, been inside a friend's 10.4sec GT42R-equipped Talon, etc and the power is INSANE but it's a totally different feeling from the E55. It's more equivalent to ... a jet taking off. The thrust builds slowly and then comes on like a freight train. In the E, the power is constant.

B5s are nothing to f*ck with, although i am a fan of the Audi 2.7 myself. Although, if you want even more power, look at the massive number of huge hp 2.2 5 cyl Audi turbos running around europe. Insane cars! And they sound like half a Lambo. I am still kicking myself for not getting a 200 20V quattro for 3k. But it needed the dreaded timing belt replacement.

the car is a s4, with a vr6 out of chris' old race car(jetta), the s4 had the 2.7tt motor in it orginally, but after building it and going big turbos, chris felt the car just had a ****ty power band and since the jetta was just sitting and so was the s4, he decided to put the 2 togther.. everything was fabed up in house except for the trans adapter plate, flywheel and starter and ecu which were all sourced from 034.. the car runs on pump gas(e85) has full interior with all factory options still in tact except for a/c.(everytyhing there but compressor).. the car has full exhaust and drives on radials.. is very streetable and still see's the street very often.
this was the first time ever out with the car and the car will go faster with no new mods or tuning.. chris is still earning the car..

It has a VW VR6 built motor in it with a big turbo.
I have a few friends with high hp VW built engines and they keep breaking
And the car is NOT full interior. Look for a passenger seat in the video
Still a VERY amazing accomplishment. Chris knows what he is doing for sure. The motor actually came out of his jetta lol

as for full interior the car has every factory option and power as it was factory, the seats were taken out for the event but then put back in as per class rules
and the turbo is by no means big only 67mm
the car is very streetable, has small 67mm turbo and sees boost at ~2200 car goes on sunday funday family drives just fine.. very streetable

i know this S4 has a swap engine, but i'm just giving my opinion about Evo9 is cheaper to build & a better platform. Gt40r or bigger turbos= just more lag & a simply drag intended ride where built big turbos Evo9 w/ full interior runs the 1/4mi faster than this S4 & easily street driveable. Heck my other toy '94 civic EG6 cx Kswap can go just as faster than this S4 & i recalled u had a turbo DC2 teg in 10's in your sig before so u should know about imports.

the s4 is not a drag only car, it was just put togther for fun, road race, drag and daily driving.
as for the civic i would love to see a fwd on a drag radial with full interior and full exhaust go 9.80s
the car was finished that thurs, had only been launced 1 time on the street and that was the first time ever on the track, the 4th and 5th pass with the car it went 9s and will go 9.5s with more seat time..

UGR TT is nuts! Plain and simple, they went to the track with Toyos and didn't even lower the air pressure I believe. To the S4 Video, Chris Green is the man, he does great 911 Turbo tuning as well and he actually was running mid 10s in his K24/18g 996.

What many people overlook is that 96-99 Vipers came with a forged engine out the factory, which means a Paxton or Roe SC Kit = Game Over and they run around $10,000 or so. I actually read a thread on Viper Alley where a GTS owner paid $14,900 at Underground Racing (Same UR that does Gallardos, GTs, etc.) and he's making 900rwhp on pump and meth with a Paxton Novi 2000 SC Setup...insanity. I don't know if that price still goes but UG's own website stated $20k now.
So a recipe for those who want big power and big torque(you V12TT, M113 V8 SC and M156 6.2 boys are spoiled with torque so it won't be a torque downgrade). The Viper also brings huge attention as always, one of the most hardcore cars still, although the new SRT10s are more liveable.
