Out Of Control!!
It has a VW VR6 built motor in it with a big turbo.
I have a few friends with high hp VW built engines and they keep breaking
And the car is NOT full interior. Look for a passenger seat in the video
Still a VERY amazing accomplishment. Chris knows what he is doing for sure. The motor actually came out of his jetta lol

Yes it is a great accomplishment! But the ones you have seen were all the factory 2.7TT engines, this had a VW VR6 engine in it. You can pick up a VR6 motor for under $1k and probably get a fully built one for way under $5k. S4 chassis with blown motor for well under $5k. I'd say for less than $25k this car can be replicated. Again, still an awesome feat!

I think it will cost about 5k+ Ahmad because it cost me about 4k to buildd my 4g63 motor and that's a 4cyl. I think it's cheaper to just use the original Audi V6 which is built tough, but this Audi with the VR6 does move well. Nice project!!

Audi S4's are no joke. Minor upgrades = strong machines. Bolt on GT28 turbos = insaine.
Saw another VR6 conversion from 034 motorsports at the track. Nice combo IMHO.

Personally, i like the Mitsu Evo9 platform better to build a more reliable & quicker drag sleeper like this one eventhough i recently sold my '02 B5S4 few months ago. There's a reason why these B5S4 have low resale value now vs others such as Evo9 etc. The awd Evo9 will also be quicker around a roadtrack like the time attacks speedtrials. Also, checkout Audizine.com & Audiworld to see what tunning & other issues they have. They're great platform but not worth it imo..

Awesome car! Your comparing apples to oranges though... It's built for sure. That thing has a motor swap and a giant single turbo. Probably a GT40R which is no joke. Not street friendly but, will set your hair on fire at the track.

patrat: I should have been more clear. It was ment to the OP. I know he was kidding anyways... I also agree with your statements. An engine swapped b5 s4 with a built motor, single turbo and stand alone fuel management shouldn't be compared to a bolt on mercedes that weighs 4200 to what 4800 lbs or so. Just my 2 cents.
