Hey guys....the reciever for my "keyless go" seems to be out in my driver and passenger door(rear doors work fine). Im going to try to fix it myself. Can some one please post up a an exploded pic of the door?

a step by step protocol would be even better. It looks like I may not have to take the whole door apart to remove the reciever in the locking mech(just a guess)

Well,

Low odds of you getting this info. If it is a loose connection, then pull the door panels and try reseating any connectors. That was what was wrong with my drivers door and was fixed under warrantee. If it is in fact the door handle mechanism, they need to order one programmed with your VIN.

I just went to my car ten minutes before posting this and when i unlock my car with the remote (due to the keyless entry not working on my drivers door before) the car locks itself again, if i jiggle the handle while opening or open it realy fast it will open sometimes, I guess I will have to go to the dealer tomorrow for my first trip to get something fixed since I had the car, which is a month now. I have a few things that will need to be replaced at the same time, like the command unit, the single cd wont come out, and a few other small problems. do you guys think I should get a loan car for this kind of problem.

thats interesting....I would think WIS would have this info. Especially a blow up diagram.

it appears that the door handle might come out without removing the door panel (looks like a hassle).

I guess Ill be doing some blind exploratory surgery.

I have the same problem. All doors will unlock and lock, except the driver's side. Could this be a programming error? I just bought the car and do not know if it did or didn't work before I owned it.

I had my 2 front door handles not work with keyless. MB replaced my 2 front door handles, had to order them in. It was due to water intrusion. As per my invoice: re and re inner door panels, re and re inner sound insulation to inspect door lock actuator for water. no moisture found replace outer door handle.
