1 BAD BURB

I will be buying a 07' E63 soon and i want to use the custom rims off my 01 E55 on this new car. they are 19x10 in the rear. i have 275's on them but they look small so i want to get a wider tire. can i fit a 295/35/19 on the rear of an E63 without rubbing issues???

any thoughts? appreciate it guys!

its going to need to be a 30 side wall then it should fit no problem if the wheel has a aggressive offset. It will look a lot better with a 285 the 295 on a 10" wheel will make the tire cup around to fit the wheel. IMO

My friend is running 295s on stock rims on a 2005 E55 with absolutely no issues what so ever.

I ran a 295 when i had stock rims but it does rub a lil tiny bit when its in the low mode it only rubs on the plastic inside liner.

I run a 285/30/19 on a 19x10 rear and slammed...no rub at all but my wheels/offsets were made for my ride.

Do you know which tire and profile he is using? It's time for me to get new tires and I was thinking of running a wider tire but didn't know you could push it that far.

Stock is 265 35 18
I was thinking of 275 35 18
Anyone running 285 on the stock rim? And if so what tire profile are you running them on? 30's?

Right now he is running Mickey Thomson's street tire in 275/40/18 on the stock rims. Before those tires, I believe he was running BFG drag radials in 295/30/18.

thanks guys... so it looks like a 295 "might" fit. i have 275/35/18 right now and after i put them on, we'll see how it looks.

Getting the car friday "as of right now"...hopeing nothing changes. I might actually be keeping my older E55 as well until i sell it.

Tis true. The rear fits perfectly on the front and there you have a 265 on the front. The rear is an SL550 rim shaved 4mm on the insides to give a final 18X9.5 et37. 295s fit no problem.
