! I know have LET's custom dyno tune and it made the almost the same power but at much safer AFR.
I really don't know why your trap speeds are on the lower end for your mods. Maybe some of the more experience veterans or even LET could jump in give their input. The thing that gets me as that you had good conditions
. I'll see tonight but even at +1500 DA my car still trapped 122 with my old VR600 box tune. Tonight I'll have similar conditions as Famoso which should give me a comparison...depending on track prep. VR600 tune vs. my new LET tune. BTW...I have a few more mods since Famoso so I should do much better, in my mind. Anything less will be dissapointing.
Good luck tonight, let us know how it goes Originally Posted by bassn_07

It was horrible. They didn't spray any VHT and barely put any water in the box. The fricken guy who usually backs you up didn't do crap, I finally asked my friend to guide me back. My best time was 12.04 @ 123.5 with a 60' time of 2.225...LOL. No matter what I did I couldn't get traction.
I really didn't get a chacne to get a good comparison since traction didn't exist. BTW...the DA was 1200 or so when I ran.

LOL...yeah I was still hoping for more though. Earlier this year in negative DA I was trapping 124 with a box tune. Not quite sure if I'm that impressed with LET's tune yet, I was really hoping for a better trap. I need to give them a call and get their input. Originally Posted by prodigymb

What's funny is that this past winter I used Toyo T1R's and my 60' time were 1.8-1.95. This was on a Test-n-Tune day but admission was $50 and they sprayed VHT once or twice through out the 4 hour session.
Could anyone guesstimate on what my ET's would've been with 1.7-1.8 60' times.

With a 1.70 60' you could have theoretically gone 11.0 (most likely low 11's)Originally Posted by bassn_07

Ahmad, quick question regarding P2096 CEL. Yesterday I had 3/8 of a tank with 91 octane and put 3 gallons on 100 octane. While driving to the track, about 5 miles and P2096 CEL came on. Do you think it could have been gas related? I only put a few gallons in trying to bring my octane to 93 or so.Originally Posted by blackbenzz

What kind of race gas did you use? I have heard of cats going bad from certain types of race gas !Originally Posted by bassn_07

Try using VP109-MS109 Unleaded if you can get it locally, it's an awesome fuel!

My guess depending on conditions with a 1.7 60' your car at Sac would be 11.2 @ 120-122 if you run when the weather is around 50-60 Originally Posted by bassn_07

One of my Audi buddies said that 100 octane gas is bad for our stock cats and that 100 could do damage to the them. If I were you I would just run 95 and that way you take all of the fuel measuring out of the equation. VP sales 95.Originally Posted by bassn_07

leaded gasoline can cause damage to cats and o2 sensors. some other gasolines containe other metal particles that can damage cats and o2 sensors as well.Originally Posted by Hammer Down

VP109 is unleaded and does not contain metal particales, it's safe for cats and o2 sensors. i am sure there are some others as well.

there's little point in guesstimating or trying to compare inconsistent runs, just get back out there get some good data before you jump to any conclusions.Originally Posted by bassn_07
