Optimum tire size for 18" / OEM wheels
Okay, I've purchased a set of wheels. 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. Tire Rack recommends 245/40/18 for the front and 265/35/18 for the rear.
Are these the optimum sizing? Should I try and go with a wider rear? What do you guys think?
I'll be ordering the tires today, so I have a while to decide. Let me know what you suggest!

Tire Rack can tell you the +1 tire size. Do you have TPM? Tire Rack has sensors that cost less than the MB sensors.

275's in back, it's a no brainer. I can't begin to understand why MB went from 275's on the W210 E55 at 355 HP to a 265 on the W211's.
