further warranty
Hello all, I have a 2005 e55 with roughly 45k miles, my warranty will be ending soon and I have an opportunity to extend my warranty to 100k miles for $8000. I was curious to know if this is worth getting, I have yet to have any issues with my car and I feel these are overall very stable machines, I wanted to get feedback from the community on first hand experience with any issues.

I think they are on crack, the extended MB warranty is $4500.00, and some here have negotiated that price lower. (2 yrs / 100K mi)

Maybe there is some savings in quantity warranty purchases. If you can find a good deal, I would be interesed in it too. Maybe the price is less with more of us buying into it in bulk.

Would you be intrested in the Chrysler one? If not let's try to get this Fedelity going...but let's make sure a bulk of ppl on here have experience with it. We don't wanna get effed.

Yes just called them. FJ deals with them and they only contract through dealers no 3rd partyness. i'm calling FJ MB to get a quote right now

I ended up going with a Fidelity Platinum Warranty. 6yr/60,000 miles with $0 Deductible for $2,363 (2005 SL500 w/ 17,000 miles). It only requires 10% down and then it's 0% for 18 months. The prices are all over the map so you need to shop around. I was originally quoted $2,595 for a 3yr/36,000 at another MB dealer. Here is the info from the MB dealer where I purchased mine.
