I know this topic has been discussed extensively. But that's why I want to start this short and sweet survey for easy reference. Please post....

1. Warranty provider (MB, Chrysler, CNA, Mercury, etc...)
2. price paid & coverage (if you don't mind, how many years and additional mileage at time of purchase, most are total mileage, to compare apples to apples, let's see the additional mileage)
3. claim experience (no issues, adjuster inspects vehicle, won't cover Airmatic, etc.
4. paying claims (slow, you pay first then reimbursed, they only pay reasonable rates ie $1500 of $2000 job, etc.)
5. how many claims have you submitted and each approx $ amt.

I'm looking into warranties so I'll post what I've been quoted.

1. Mercury
2. quoted $4455 6yr/74k, $3090 6yr/49k, $3930 5yr/74k, $3135 5yr/59k, $2885 5yr/49k $100 deduc w/electronics package.
3. no claims
4. no claims
5. 0 claim/ $0

1. Mercury Platinum
2. Previous owner paid a mint, around $4600 or so for 5 yrs, 50K miles. Bumper-to-bumper coverage.
3. I made a claim for the supercharger clutch and the previous owner had the trans, radiator, and front airmatic replaced under the warranty. Also had several sensors in the engine, Cam/Crank position sensors, etc
4. No issues, $100 deductible
5. Unknown, though the receipts total over $10K easily.

1. Chrysler
2. $2500.00 (Some group buy special) 6 Year/100K Maximum Care. Bought at 42K Miles, now at 59K Miles. Coverage ends 12/2010.
3. Has covered everything so far (trans plug and full service, supercharger clutch pack, SAM module that kept fog lights from working and gave a dipped beam left error message on headlight) minus wearable items (belts, bulbs, etc)
4. 48 hours turn around on payment
5. 2 claims, approximately $2400.00.

Mod friendly is determined by dealership. Any warranty company is not going to like mods.

I was looking some info for mercury and somehow i find AA warranty and they want $3550 for a 5 year 100,000k miles. According to them this warranty is as good as the warranty that came with the car brand new. Has anyone had any experience with this warranty?

I was hoping for a simple thread with a bunch of warranty answers without going through all the discussions. Please use a different thread for Q and A.
