tail light removal...whats a PITA

tail light removal...whats a PITA
So i am a newbie to the E63. i figured removing the taillight should be a breeze. nope...must have taken me about 45min!
First removing the shroud, no biggie. started on the driver side. figured out the 5 nuts need to come off, bam, one light off.
Go to passenger side..uhh ohh, whats this big *** cylinder in the way??? no idea, but i couldn't get to one nut thats directly behind the cylinder. finally got the cylinder unhooked and the nut off.
anyways, i took the tails off to get them spray tinted black to match the car. will leave the clear section still clear. its going to look sick!!! Also got some of those smoked front marker lights and will tint those black as well.
i'll make a new post when i get the stuff done.
