Warrenty on Leather Seat
Hi Everyone. I have a 2007 E63. The leather on the drivers seat is starting to crack on the upper seat by the door pillar where you get in and out. What would be the proper way to address this with MB with a good outcome. Car has 10,00 miles on it and this is starting to show already.
Any suggestions?

II have my car at the dealer now with 1 year left on the original warranty and Certified til 2013.
One of the things being done is replacement of the seat cover because the cushion has some wear at the pleat edge. Most wouldn't even notice it but I asked and they got it warrantied.

Any sort of wear on an interior trim is upto the discreation of the dealer. If the car is quite low milage or it's a common wear point then you rarely have a problem. Just don't aproach the dealer agressively, just let them know it's worn, if they balk at replacing it then stand your ground without getting agressive or pushy. They most likely will change it for you at that milage.
